Mike Chimeri is a past and present contemporary jazz radio host and enthusiast. For five years, he hosted a contemporary jazz instrumentals show at WCWP, Long Island University-C.W. Post Campus’ radio station, called “The Mike Chimeri Show.” From July 2004 to May 2005, he hosted “The Instrumental Invasion” at WGBB-AM. And he had a Live365 Internet Radio station, MCJN: Mike Chimeri Jazz Net, from May to July 2007.
In March 2008, Mike adopted the tagline “Making contemporary jazz fun for you!” He says the reason he came up with the new tagline was his goal has always been to make contemporary jazz fun, as well as informative, for his listeners.

Mike is not afraid to admit that he has Asperger Syndrome, an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Although he was only diagnosed with it in 1999, he’s had it his entire life.
Mike was born November 17, 1981, and lives in Wantagh (WAHN-taw), New York.
